MEMS generator for a mechanical watch

CTI project in collaboration with a Swiss industrial partner

Project description

The aim of this project is to design a miniaturized generator to increase the accuracy of a mechanical watch. Limited space and low input energy, combined with the necessity of relatively high output voltage are the key challenges to be overcome in order to ensure good behaviour of the device.
