High-force piezoelectric actuator

Project description

By using the high power density of piezoelectric material in an inchworm motion configuration, this project intends to realize a linear piezoelectric actuator which generates high forces up to kN on infinite strokes. A control electronics allows the piezoelectric materials excitation while trying to minimize the electrical consumption.
