CTI project in collaboration with a Swiss industrial partner
Project description
The project aims to create a serie of controlled waves on the surface of a resonant metal plate by mean of piezoelectric actuators. Those waves are employed to transport and distribute pieces over the metal plate. The prototype has been established and proved the feasibility. FE Modelling has been used to optimize the mechanical structure design, while a control system provides stability and efficiency.
